ABOUT ME

My name is Maud Norris, the fashion designer behind the brand.

I was born in Paris. I studied fashion design and pattern making and graduated in 2006. I’ve always loved creating dresses with quirky details and stunning fabrics, and am really fond of the rich fashion of the Edwardian era.

My preferred fabrics are lace (the older the better!), celestial prints and flowers. I also like adding some colour in dresses. After all, not all brides want to wear white at their wedding! As a bride, I herself wore a wonderful dress in Calais lace, with a deep purple underlining and matching purple belt in velvet.

I design, create and handmake all the dresses from start to finish using mainly British and French fabrics, ensuring that they are sustainable and lovingly made for you!

Now based in Kent, in the quaint little village of Minster, near Ramsgate, I offer one-to-one appointments, where I give my expert advice to help brides feel their most confident and happy.
